Neru box office collection Day 10 – Mohanlal's courtroom drama set to cross ₹60 crore mark

Neru, the courtroom drama that stars Mohanlal in the lead role, has emerged as one of the biggest hits of Malayalam cinema, this year. Recently, the Malayalam superstar took to his official social media handles and confirmed that the Jeethu Joseph directorial crossed the Rs. 50-crore worldwide. Now, the latest updates suggest that Neru is set to enter the Rs. 60-crore club, when it completed the first 10 days of its release.

Neru to enter the Rs 60-crore club?

As per the latest reports, the Mohanlal-starrer is continuing its glorious run at the box office. The trade experts suggest that the courtroom drama has made a total collection of over Rs. 30 crores at the Kerala box office alone, within the first 10 days of its release. When it comes to the Rest of India’s box office, the Jeethu Joseph directorial is now set to touch the Rs. 5-crore mark, despite getting a limited release across the major Indian cities.

Neru has also been performing exceptionally at the overseas box office, right from the day of its release. Especially, the box office performance of the courtroom drama at the UAE-GCC regions has been simply spectacular. The trade analysts report that the UAE-GCC box office collections have contributed majorly towards the overseas collection of the film, which is now set to touch the Rs. 25-crore mark.

In that case, it is now safe to confirm that the Mohanlal-starrer is now set to enter the Rs. 60-crore club of the Malayalam film industry. Currently, Neru is in the fifth position in the list of Top 5 highest-grossing Malayalam films of 2023. But, if things proceed at the same rate, the Jeethu Joseph directorial might soon surpass the collections of Romancham, to emerge as the fourth highest-grossing film of the year.

As reported earlier, Mohanlal’s courtroom drama is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar, after its theatrical run. The OTT release date and other details of the movie are expected to be out very soon. Anaswara Rajan played a pivotal role in the movie, which stars Priya Mani, Siddique, Jagadeesh, KB Ganesh Kumar, and others in key roles. Neru, which is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas, is now set to have a spin-off, soon.
