The first game between India and New Zealand was abandoned due to rain and fans are eager to see the two sides in action during the second T20I game at Bay Oval.

With the top stars of the Indian team missing out on this series, the Men in Blue will be led by Hardik Pandya and coached by VVS Laxman. 

The BlackCaps, on the other hand, are still being captained by Kane Williamson. Trent Boult would be missing in this series as he has decided to not take up a central contract. NZC selectors have therefore decided to try some new bowlers.
