The first single from Pathu Thala, Namma Satham, was released recently and fans of Silambarasan have been eagerly waiting for the next update. The audio launch of the movie is expected to happen on March 18 and music director AR Rahman is likely to perform live at the event.
The likes of Suriya and others are expected to grace the event. The gangster flick is hitting the screens on March 30 and it is expected to register the biggest opening in Silambarasan's career. Now, the makers have revealed a crucial update on the second single.
Titled Ninaivirukka, the romantic track will be unveiled at 6 pm on March 13. The team has released a promo video featuring Rahman, director Obeli N Krishna and lyricist Kabilan. Obeli is seen narrating the situation in which a young couple bumps into each other at an unusual situation after nine years.
Kabilan suggests Ninaivirukka as the title for the song and Rahman comes up with a short melody track. Quite impressed by his composition, the filmmaker requests to rope in a young singer for the song and suggests Ameen's (Rahman's son) name. He joins the trio and gets excited to be part of the composition. Shakthisree Gopalan will also be joining Ameen for the song.
Pathu Thala, bankrolled by Jayantilal Gada and KE Gnanavelraja, is the official remake of Sandalwood movie Mufti. Farook J Basha and Praveen KL have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the project which has dialogues penned by RS Ramakrishnan.
Sandy and R Sakthi Saravanan have helmed dance choreography and action scenes respectively while Snekan and Vivek are others who have written lyrics for the film.
