Nirangal Moondru: Here's when the trailer of Karthick Naren, Atharvaa's thriller flick will be unveiled

Director Karthick Naren, who last made Maaran with Dhanush, had announced a while ago that his next project would be Nirangal Moondru, starring Atharvaa in the lead. Sarath Kumar and Rahman will also be seen playing pivotal roles in the movie which is touted as a thriller.

It's been a while since the makers have come up with an update on the film. They have now released a new poster of the project which features Chinni Jayanth, Santhana Bharathi and John Vijay as well. The makers have also informed about the trailer release date.

The promo video will be unveiled on March 3; Karthick has announced the same on his social media page. Movie buffs are eager to know what he has in store for them. The young filmmaker, who made a smashing debut with Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru in 2016, then directed Naragasooran which is yet to see the light of the day.

He then helmed Project Agni, a segment of Navarasa, the anthology produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan for Netflix which was dropped on the platform in 2021. Maaran, which he made with Dhanush, skipped theatrical release and dropped directly on Disney+ Hotstar last year. The underwhelming film was ripped apart by critics and the audience.

Fans of Karthick have pinned high hopes on Nirangal Moondru which is expected to be released this year. Jakes Bejoy has composed music for the movie which has Tijo Tomy cranking the camera and Sreejith Sarang handling editing. 

Don Ashok has been roped in to choreograph action scenes. K Karunamoorthy has produced the film under the banner of Ayngaran Film International.
