It was announced earlier that Dulquer Salmaan will release the first look of Ashok Selvan's next project. The former took to his social media handle do unveil the same and tweeted, "A truly special film. With close friends starring & making it. Nitham Oru Vaanam / Aakasham will be an experience beyond this poster (sic)."

The bilingual flick, which has three female leads, has been titled as Aakasham in Telugu. Ritu Varma, Shivathmika Rajashekar and Aparna Balamurali play female leads in the film which has been directed by debutant Ra Karthik. The first look features Ashok and Ritu seen trekking a snow mountain.

Billed as a rom-com, Nitham Oru Vaanam is being produced by Via Com 18 Studios and Sreenidhi Sagar. Gopi Sundar is the music director of the movie which has cinematography by Vidhu Ayyanna. Anthony and Kamal Nathan are the editor and art director for the film respectively. 

Leelavathi Kumar has choreographed dance moves for the project while Vicky has helmed action sequences. Ashok and Ritu were seen together earlier in the bilingual movie Theeni (streaming on Zee5), which was released under the title Ninnila Ninnila in Telugu.

Ritu took to Twitter to share the happiness on the occasion of the first look release of Nitham Oru Vaanam. She posted, "“Sometimes it’s the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination. This poster is just a glimpse of the beautiful journey we’re all going to take you along (sic)."

Ashok, on the other hand, tweeted, "Every once in a while a project comes and challenges you and in the process changes you :) Presenting to you “NITHAM ORU VAANAM” (Tamil) / “AAKASHAM” (Telugu) A journey like you’ve never seen before! (sic)."
