From 2022-23, all BTS members - Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jung-kook - pursued solo endeavours while also preparing for enlistment in the South Korean military services. Although their solo releases achieved chart success on the Billboard Hot 100, their submissions for the 2024 Grammys were overlooked.

The 66th Annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday (Monday in India), with photos from the event circulating widely on social media. Among these, one particular image caught significant attention: BTS' V, also known as Kim Taehyung, pictured with artists such as Lady Gaga and Olivia Rodrigo from the previous year.

The photo with Lady Gaga dates back to the 2022 Grammys. V has openly expressed his admiration for the multi-talented American singer, songwriter, and actress, highlighting his appreciation for her music, especially its jazzy influences.

The image with Olivia Rodrigo captures a moment from BTS' performance at the 2022 Grammys, which became a major highlight of the event. Fans couldn't get enough of V's charismatic stage presence, particularly his flirtatious demeanour. A whispered exchange between V and Olivia during the act sparked intense speculation online.

Despite the disappointment of being overlooked at the 2024 Grammys, fans continue to celebrate V's accomplishments and take pride in his achievements. The enduring popularity of these photos among ARMYs demonstrates their unwavering support for their idol.

BTS' V solo album 'Layover':

The singer recently garnered recognition in a prestigious British entertainment magazine for his album 'Layover'. 'TimeOut' magazine unveiled its highly anticipated 2023 list of 'The 30 Best Albums', showcasing the year's most remarkable releases, with editorial selections. Taehyung emerged as the sole K-pop artist to secure a prominent position on the list.

In addition to critical acclaim, 'Layover' achieved remarkable commercial success, with first-week sales surpassing 2 million copies, shattering records and establishing it as the best-selling album of the past 23 years. Furthermore, the 'Christmas Tree' singer achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Korean soloist to have every track from a single album chart on Billboard's Global Excl. US chart for two consecutive weeks.

The album 'Layover' features six songs: 'Rainy Days', 'Blue', 'Love Me Again', 'Blue', 'Slow Dancing', and 'Slow Dancing' (piano version).
