During the promotion of Tiger 3, Salman Khan confirmed that his upcoming film is The Bull. The film was to be directed by filmmaker Vishnuvardhan and produced by Karan Johar. It was recently reported that Salman Khan had decided to back out of the film. Since Karan and Vishnuvardhan weren't able to commit to exact timelines for the shoot, Khan apparently chose to move on. However, the latest development is that Salman is still on board for The Bull.

According to a Mid-Day report, certain portions of Salman Khan's The Bull have to be rewritten due to political strain and conflict between India and the Maldives. The film's storyline revolves around the events of Operation Cactus, which occurred on November 3, 1988.
Although The Bull's portion will be rewritten, it continues to remain a heroic tale. But instead of keeping the references direct, it is safer at this point to make changes to the geographical specifications of the story. The director wants to stick to the real story [and will use] the details of the operation," a source told the tabloid. The rework is expected to be finished by the end of the year. Once it is done, Salman Khan will reportedly begin the film's shoot in 2025.
Salman Khan's upcoming projects
Besides The Bull, Salman Khan's upcoming projects include an untitled film with director AR Murugadoss. The superstar has collaborated with the filmmaker for the first time. While making an official announcement, Salman mentioned that this collaboration is special and he was glad to join forces with Murugadoss and Sajid Nadiadwala.
After Tiger 3's release on Diwali 2023, Salman's film with AR Murugadoss will have an Eid 2025 release. So far, there's no other film announced for the same date. Salman and Murugadoss' film will enjoy a solo release next year on Eid.
