Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles, released in theatres on August 29, 2025, to mixed reviews. The film opened with Rs 0.75 crore, which sadly was the highest it could ever make during its theatrical run. Despite a vibrant setting and a great cast, the film failed to connect with the audiences and the subsequent days saw OKCK settling for far less at the box office. Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira’s total collections stand at Rs 2.14 crore, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.
Other Onam releases of Lokah, which also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Mohanlal’s Hridayapoorvam fared far better. Lokah has had a record-breaking run at the cinemas, emerging to be the highest-grossing Malayalam film, while Hridayapoorvam did not match up to the superhero film but still earned a hit tag with Rs 75.68 crore collections.
