The trailer release date of Midhun Manuel Thomas’ upcoming investigative thriller Abraham Ozler has been revealed by the makers. Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu will launch the trailer through his social media page at 7:30 pm on January 3.
Jagadish, Dileesh Pothan, Anaswara Rajan, Arjun Ashokan, Senthil Krishna, Arya Salim, and Anoop Menon are playing prominent roles in this film, which is set to hit the theatres on January 11. Irshad M Hassan and Midhun Manuel Thomas have produced this movie. Midhun Mukundan has composed music, while camera work is helmed by Theni Eswar. Ann Mega Media will distribute this film in theatres.
Jayaram’s highly anticipated comeback
The Malayali audience is excited about Abraham Ozler and is hopeful that their favourite artist, Jayaram, makes a spectacular comeback. The actor donned a tough and intense look in the movie's first still, which was out in May this year. He is playing ACP Abraham Ozler IPS in this thriller.
According to sources, Jayaram will be essaying a never-before-seen role in Abraham Ozler. He has not had a successful Malayalam movie at the box office or with audiences in recent years. His earlier Malayalam films, Lonappante Mamodeesa, Pattabhiraman, and Marconi Mathai, did not draw large audiences to theatres and disappointed fans with their drab storylines.
He recently starred in Makal, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, but the film failed to make an impression on viewers. The actor, meanwhile, had a busy year, appearing in films in several languages, including Kushi (Telugu), Ghost (Kannada), Ponniyin Selvan: I and II (Tamil), and Hi Nanna (Telugu). Jayaram will also be seen in Thalapathy 68.
Midhun’s seventh directorial
Midhun Manuel Thomas, who made his directorial debut with the slapstick comedy Aadu, is back with another investigative thriller after the success of his previous film Anjaam Pathiraa. He had penned the screenplay for Suresh Gopi’s Garudan and Aju Varghese’s Phoenix this year. The director is also the screenplay writer for Turbo, starring Mammootty, Kannada’s Raj B Shetty and Telugu actor Sunil.
