Oh My Dog release date: When and where to watch this feel-good drama starring Arun Vijay online

It was announced last year that Suriya has inked a four-film deal with a leading OTT platform and that all those projects which were produced by his home banner 2D Entertainment will have a direct release on it. Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum, Udanpirappe and Jai Bhim were released last year itself, while the fourth one among them, Oh My Dog, was yet to be released. 

The makers have now taken to social media to announce the OTT release of the movie starring Arun Vijay and his son Arnav in lead roles. Interestingly, Arun's father and senior actor Vijaykumar is also essaying an important role.

What's Oh My Dog about?

Directed by Sarov Shanmugam, the film's story revolves around the relationship between a father and a son, and their bonding with a dog. Mahima Nambiar and Vinay Rai are others who play pivotal characters in the film. While Mahima acted along with Arun earlier in Kuttram 23, Vinay was seen along with Suriya in Etharkkum Thunindhavan.

Billed as a feel-good family drama aimed primarily at children, the movie's story is said to happen in and around Ooty. According to the makers, Oh My Dog touches upon the diverse emotions and desires of school-going children and their innocent behaviour. 

When and where to watch Oh My Dog online?

The film will drop on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil and Telugu on April 21. The movie's music has been composed by Nivas Prasanna while cinematography has been handled by Gopinath.  

Both Suriya and Arun Vijay took to Twitter to share excitement on announcing the project's release date. The latter's next theatrical release is Yaanai which is hitting the screens on May 6. Oh My Dog marks his OTT debut as well.
