Oh My Dog: Vinay Rai’s role in upcoming Amazon Prime movie revealed

We remember Vinay Rai from his chocolate boy days when the much-appreciated movie Unnale Unnale was released in 2007. In recent years, he took an interest in playing more negative shades in movies. Like Vishal’s Thupparivalan, which came out in 2017 featured Rai in an antagonistic character. He also played the bad guy in Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming movie Doctor. Similarly, he will also be playing a bad guy in Arun Vijay’s Oh My Dog, which is coming out in December. The film is produced by Suriya and Jyotika under the banner of 2D Entertainment.

Oh, My Dog features Arun Vijay in the lead role along with his son Aarnav Vijay, which marks his debut film. Vijayakumar (Arun Vijay’s father) will also be appearing in the movie in an important role. The movie is written and directed by Sarov Shanmugam. The director of photography is helmed by Gopinath S Nivas. K Prasanna has composed the soundtracks of the movie. The is touted to be a heartwarming tale of a boy and his pet dog.

Oh, My Dog also marks the third generation acting from the Vijayakumar family. 25 years after Arun Vijay’s debut movie Murai Mapillai, his son Aarnav Vijay is making his acting debut in the upcoming movie.

Vinay Rai is continuing to go on a roll with playing negative shades with the upcoming releases of Doctor, Oh My Dog and the 40th movie of Suriya - Etharkkum Thunindhavan.

Oh My Dog will be streaming from December on Amazon Prime.
