Onnoda Nadandhaa: Dhanush's voice complements Ilaiyaraaja's effective melody in Vetri Maaran's Viduthalai

Kollywood movie buffs were thrilled when Vetri Maaran announced Viduthalai with Soori in the lead. Ilaiyaraaja's inclusion in the project was another aspect which made them excited. As if this wasn't enough, makers roped in Dhanush to sing a crucial track for the film which will be released in two parts.

The team has now unveiled the song titled Onnoda Nadandhaa. The five-minute melody has Ananya Bhat, too, lending voice along with the Thiruchitrambalam star. Soori and Bhavani Sri feature in the video song which is nothing less than a treat for Raja's fans.

The song reminds us of some of the yesteryear hits of the maestro, but that doesn't deter us from enjoying this slow-burning soulful track which is about unconditional love and companionship. Suka has penned lyrics for the song which was recorded at Raja's studio a few months ago. A picture of Raja with Dhanush which was clicked then had gone viral in no time.

The video song also has a bit which has Dhanush singing with full enthusiasm and Vetri Maaran listening to it with joy. Movie buffs are now waiting for the filmmaker to announce its release date.      

Vijay Sethupathi, Gautham Menon, Chetan, Rajiv Menon and Ilavarasu among others play key roles in the project which will be presented by Red Giant Movies across Tamil Nadu. Elred Kumar has bankrolled Viduthalai under the banner of RS Infotainment. 

Velraj and Ramar have handled cinematography and editing respectively while Peter Hein and Stun Siva are in charge of its action choreography. Jacki has helmed art direction for the movie which has story written by Jeyamohan.
