Post the likes of Engga Hostel, Accidental Farmer & Co and Sengalam this year, here comes a new web series in Tamil. Titled Oru Kodai Murder Mystery, Vishal Venkat of Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal fame has helmed it. Abirami plays a crucial character in the project which stars Aishwarya and a bunch of teenagers in key roles.

Billed as a whodunit, it revolves around a young girl who goes missing from Kodaikanal where the story is set. Akash, Raghav, John, Namritha, Abitha, Frankin and Sylven will be seen essaying significant characters in the series.
Fazila Allana and Kamna Menezes have bankrolled Oru Kodai Murder Mystery which has screenplay and dialogues penned by N Padmakumar and Rohit Nandakumar. Anbarasan Chinnasamy and Mathivathanan J have handled cinematography and editing respectively. Sudharshan M Kumar has composed music.
The project marks the second direct-to-OTT outing for Abirami after Madhavan-starrer Maara which was released two years ago. She was last seen in Ashok Selvan's Nitham Oru Vaanam. On the other hand, Aishwarya was last seen in the super hit film Dada which hit the screens earlier this year.
Oru Kodai Murder Mystery is dropping on Zee5 on April 21. Andrea Jeremiah has released its two-minute trailer which offers a glimpse into its plot. She tweeted, "A dead body, a chilling backdrop, and a bunch of teens who turn detective. But can they solve the mystery before one of them gets into trouble?"
It is the second OTT project from Zee5 to release in Tamil that revolves around teenagers after Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee, which garnered appreciation from film buffs last year. The team is expected to come up with more promo videos of the whodunit series in the coming days.
