Raashi Khanna, who was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Tughlaq Durbar, which was released on Netflix a couple of days ago, is kicked about teaming up with her co-star again in the web series being helmed by Raj and DK. Titled Sunny, the much-awaited project has Shahid Kapoor, too, playing the lead role in it.

The project is riding on high expectations, thanks to the humungous success of the director duo's previous outing, The Family Man. The actress had posted a photo recently on Instagram which had her, along with Sethupathi, the filmmakers and Zakir Hussain, seen watching something interesting on a phone. She had earlier posted BTS pics and a few photos with Shahid as well.

Talking to OTTplay, Raashi says she was glad to meet Sethupathi on the set of Sunny. "Hindi language, to him, is what Tamil language is to me. So, it was like a role reversal for us on the set. It was great fun to work with him again. He is really hardworking; he puts so much of effort in learning his dialogues adds so much to his scenes. Sunny will release next year and I can't wait to watch it. There is so much energy on set and it has been great working with all these talented people," the actress says. On whether Sunny will be an action thriller, on the lines of The Family Man, she adds, "It has action for sure, but there's lot more to it."

She has pinned high hopes on Ajay Devgn-starrer Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, too, directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. According to Raashi, the crime thriller which will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, is a project which she is really looking forward to. She says, "It might have a release this year. My character in it is the most difficult role I have ever essayed till date. I also look so different in it that I was unrecognizable to many."
