Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum on OTT: Ahaana Krishna to Naslen, catch these cameos in the Fahadh Faasil-starrer

Director Akhil Sathyan’s family entertainer Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, which had Fahadh Faasil returning to comedy after a gap of almost four years, is now gearing up for its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video on May 26.

Apart from Fahadh’s delightful performance as the film’s lead character, who sets about on a journey that connects three women and the changes he brings in their lives, Akhil has also embedded several cameos in the movie that surprise the audience as well as keep the movie that traverses between Mumbai, Kerala and Goa, enjoyable.

The film is packed with actors such as Anjana Jayaprakash, Dhwani Rajesh, Viji Venkatesh, Mukesh, Althaf Salim, Indrans and Vineeth. But it also has room for established actors in small but pivotal roles. Here’s a list of cameos to watch out for during its OTT release.

Shruti Ramachandran

Shruti Ramachandran’s character is someone Fahadh’s Pachu bumps into during his train journey from Mumbai to Kerala. Her mother asks him if he knows them and then tells him that he had actually come home to see her as part of a potential bride-seeing ceremony.

Ahaana Krishna

Ahaana’s character is also someone Pachu meets during a wedding eve, and immediately falls for. This leads to Pachu and his father (Mukesh) visiting her house the next day. This is also Ahaana’s first-ever cameo in a movie and the actress said that it’s the best opportunity she could have hoped for.

Naslen

Naslen’s character appears in a video call to his younger brother, who gets down along with Pachu and Laila (Viji Venkatesh) at a station in Goa. His character pleads with Pachu to take his younger brother along with him.

Innocent

While Innocent’s role in the film wasn’t a surprise cameo like much of the others, it’s a delightful one, nonetheless. It’s the late actor’s final role and the film also has a nod to his celebrated co-star KPAC Lalitha in one of the scenes. The actor plays Pachu's dad's friend, who also helps arrange a wedding alliance for the youngster.

Chhaya Kadam

Gangubai Kathiawadi actress Chhaya Kadam made her Mollywood debut with Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum in a role as Nidhi’s (Dhwani Rajesh) ‘evil’ step-grandmother, who Pachu has to tackle to get the young girl away.

Mohan Agashe

The veteran Hindi and Marathi actor, who had previously starred in The King and The Commissioner in Malayalam, essayed the role of Nidhi’s grandfather – a once feared gangster who now lives a peaceful life due to his ailments in Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum.
