Pani 2 confirmed: Joju George to expand action thriller franchise into a trilogy?
Joju George has officially announced Pani 2, and what is more exciting is that the Joseph actor has said that he would be expanding the action thriller franchise into a trilogy.

After proving his mettle as an actor, Joju George ventured into direction, marking his debut with Pani. The Malayalam action-packed film won good reviews and the actor-director has confirmed that a second instalment is in the making. What is more exciting is that the Antony actor has said that he would be expanding the action thriller franchise into a trilogy. Here are all the updates about Pani’s second and third instalments.
Joju George on Pani 2
Joju George has officially announced Pani 2, the second instalment after his popular 2024 film Pani, which was an action-packed revenge thriller. While confirming Pani 2, Joju said that the second installment would be more intense, but it will not have any direct links to the first instalment.
The scripting work for Pani 2 has been completed, and the preparations are on for the shooting. The upcoming film will have a new location, new artists and will not be a continuation of Pani. The actor further said that top technicians from the country would be working behind the camera.
What got fans more excited is that Pani 2 will also not mark the end of the franchise. Joju George promises a trilogy with Pani 3 also on the cards,
has confirmed that the script for Pani 2, the follow-up to his 2024 directorial debut Pani, is complete. Principal photography of the second instalment is scheduled to commence in December this year. Joju also revealed plans for a third instalment, confirming that the Pani franchise will continue as a trilogy.
