Paper Rocket release date: When and where to watch Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's fun-filled web series online

Director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi had announced a few months ago that her next project is titled Paper Rocket and that it will be a web series. Kalidas Jayaram and Tanya Ravichandran play lead roles in the project which features a bevy of talented actors.

Renuka, Karunakaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Gouri G Kishan, Kaali Venkat and Poornima Bhagyaraj among others are a few artists who will be seen essaying key characters in the series. The makers unveiled its video jukebox earlier today consisting of six heartwarming songs composed by Simon K King, Vedshanker and Dharan Kumar.

What's Paper Rocket about?

Billed as a feel-good family drama, its story revolves around a few young friends and their relatives going on a trip to have fun from their mundane lives. They come across a few unexpected situations and people which make their journey meaningful.

After a point, they realize that they are getting to know each other well, and decide to lead their lives in a productive manner. But they face an unanticipated obstruction which spoils their plans. How are they going to solve it and move forward in life?

When and where to watch Paper Rocket online?

The web series is dropping on Zee5 on July 29. This is the fourth OTT project of Kalidas after Oru Pakka Kathai, Putham Pudhu Kaalai and Paava Kadhaigal. It also marks director Kiruthiga's digital debut. Vanakkam Chennai and Kaali were two projects she had helmed earlier.

Richard M Nathan and Gavemic U Ary have cranked the camera for Paper Rocket which has editing by Lawrence Kishore. Sakthee Venkatraj M is at the helm of art direction while Sudesh Kumar and Leelavathi have choreographed action sequences and dance moves respectively.
