Paradha box office collection day 3: Anupama Parameswaran's film is out of several theaters, makes Rs 13 lakhs

Paradha is Anupama Parameswaran's new film that impressed one and all with its trailer. The makers also did not leave any stone unturned and kept the film in the news through impressive promotions.

Paradha disappoints big time at the box office

The makers were so confident that they aired special shows two days in advance, and this tactic of theirs backfired big time at the box office. The social drama hit the screens on August 22, 2025, and started with bad word of mouth. 

Paradha made only Rs 26 lakhs in its first two days, and the day three collections were no different as the film made Rs 13 lakhs on Sunday. With this, Paradha has managed to amass only Rs 40 lakhs to date in Telugu, which is a disappointing number. 

Despite getting a proper release, the social drama did not capitalize at all and has ended at the box office. Paradha has been removed from a few screens already, and by the end of Monday, it will be out of several screens. Praveen Kandregula, who last made the hit film Subham, directed Paradha on a decent budget. But sadly, his story was outdated and did not resonate with moviegoers. 

Paradha was also quite special as it marked the Telugu debut of Malayalam actress Darshana Rajendran. Her role was appreciated a lot by the critics, but sadly, her work went unnoticed. Sangeetha also played a key role in this film, which is about three women finding their own identity. 

Paradha OTT platform details

Anupama Parameswaran, in many of her interviews, stated that Paradha is the best film in her career, and her performance matched it up. But the storytelling was so bad that the film has gone without a trace at the box office. 

Amazon Prime Video has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price, and the news is that Paradha will be out on OTT earlier than expected. Stay tuned for more updates on this film.
