Param Sundari Song Bheegi Saree OUT: Janhvi Kapoor-Sidharth Malhotra's 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani' style moves are all things romantic

Param Sundari, starring the fresh pairing of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, is all set to hit theaters on August 29, 2025. The film was earlier scheduled for a July 25 release. After the teaser and first song, Pardesiya release, the makers unveiled another new song, Bheegi Saree, today, August 8.

The makers of Param Sundari released another new song, Bheegi Saree, featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra. After the release of the truly romantic song Pardesiya from the much-awaited film Param Sundari, which has been on top of the charts across streaming platforms and social media, Maddock Films and Universal Music India have dropped the second song from the film - Bheegi Saree. The music video already captured fans' hearts, and it reminded them of Tip Tip Barsa Paani featuring Raveena Tandon and Akshay Kumar. 

The lead actors, Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, can be seen dancing to this peppy, upbeat track that blends romance with rhythm. Both Sidharth and Janhvi showcased their rain-soaked charm with some great dance moves, and the pair's chemistry on screen shines through brilliantly.

This song also marks the return of Adnan Sami's return to Hindi film playback singing after a while. He teamed up with the evergreen Shreya Ghoshal, and together they created a magical number. Composed by Sachin Jigar and written by Amitabh Bhattcharya, Bheegi Saree gives a wholesome flavour to the album.

Janhvi Kapoor on shooting Bheegi Saree

Recalling the shooting experience of Bheegi Saree, Janhvi shared in a statement that rain songs have always held a special place in films, and there’s something so timeless and magical about them. 

"I’ve grown up watching some of the most iconic moments in cinema unfold in the rain, and to now be a part of that legacy with Bheegi Saree feels surreal. Shooting this song felt like slipping into a classic Bollywood dream, dancing in the rain, feeling every beat and emotion it was pure joy," she added.

On the other hand, Sidharth said, “Bheegi Saree is high on energy, romance, and that classic monsoon vibe we all love." He also added that Janhvi and he had a blast shooting it and they can’t wait for everyone to feel that spark, especially with Shreya Ghosal and Adnan Sami’s voice making it even more special. 

Meanwhile, Param Sundari is a cross-cultural romantic comedy starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Tushar Jalota and produced by Maddock Films, the film is set against the backdrop of the Kerala backwaters and tells the story of a North Indian boy and a South Indian girl falling in love. The film is scheduled to be released on August 29, 2025.
