Parambrata Chatterjee turns percussionist at Hoichoi party

It was nothing short of a star-studded affair as the Bengali entertainment industry gathered at a city hotel to celebrate Hoichoi’s slate announcement this year. Many popular faces including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Deboshree Roy, Chiranjit, Srijit Mukherji, Anirban Bhattacharya, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ishaa Saha, Sohini Sarkar, Priyanka Sarkar, and others were present. Parambrata stole the show as he turned into a percussionist. Anirban joined it and sang with him.

Parambrata is a versatile character who, apart from acting, does directing, producing, and writing. Music is his old passion and he is well acquainted with many instruments. He stunned everyone by playing the Egyptian Darbuka Drum at the party. The video went viral. 

Param was wearing an off-white dhoti and a scarlet kurta. He was accompanied on the stage by his Dwitiyo Purush co-actor Anirban who sang the song Ke Tumi Nandini. Jibone Ki Pabo Na was in the medley. The party showered those two with claps and greetings. Their fans also praised the video.

As Anirban is gearing up with his release, Dawshom Awbotaar, Parambrata will be seen in Mumbai Diaries Season 2. Parambrata’s directorial work Parnashabarir Shaap – a paranormal thriller that features Chiranjeet, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Surangana Banerjee, and others – will be dropped on Hoichoi soon. Several other projects, including Srijit’s Durgo Rawhoshyo, Deboshree Roy’s Chemistry Mashi, and others were announced at the event.
