Paranthu Po is an upcoming Tamil film starring Mirchi Shiva, Grace Antony and others. Directed by filmmaker Ram, the film is gearing up for release on July 4. With some of the celebrities in the industry already having watched the film, music composer Sean Roldan shared his review of Paranthu Po and called it a "gift to Tamil cinema".

Director Ram known for his films like Taramani, Peranbu and Thanga Meenkal, is gearing up for the release of his next film titled Paranthu Po. The musical comedy film features Shiva, Aju Varghese, Grace Antony and others. Music composer Sean Roldan who watched the film at a special screening, had much praises to shower on Paranthu Po.

Sean called the film a “concoction of story-telling magnificence”, and recommended to watch the film in theatres with families. “Shades of emotions that rekindle your human nature, masterful craft and all of this grounded on an understanding of life beyond words. There are only few creators who are such masters of their art and Ram sir is a shining beacon among them. This film is a gift to Tamil cinema from the one and only. Feeling happy for Mirchi shiva who has slayed his performance btw,” Sean wrote.

Paranthu Po OTT release

JioHotstar has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film and will premiere it sometime in August. Paranthu Po is about a trip that a father and his young son take, away from the bustling nature of the city, and into the countryside, and how they begin a journey of self-discovery. The film had a festival run earlier and premiered at the International Festival of Rotterdam.

The technical crew consists of Ekambaram NK as the director of photography and Mathi VS as the editor. The film’s music is scored by Santhosh Dhayanidhi, with Yuvan Shankar Raja doing the background music.
