Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan, who is busy with the promotions for his upcoming movie Parasakthi, is also no different and recently revealed that his favourite Mohanlal dialogue is from the 2025 hit film Thudarum.

Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan is in Kerala, as part of the promotions for his upcoming movie Parasakthi, slated to release on January 10, 2026. During an event in Kochi, Sivakarthikeyan revealed that his favorite Mohanlal dialogue is from Thudarum. Calling it his ‘romba, romba’ favorite dialogue, the Tamil actor rendered the words, “Niniteyokke koottathodu paranjeku, Ottayaan veendum kaadu Kayari,” much to the excitement of the crowd who broke into applause.
The actor further said that he was so taken aback by Mohanlal’s riveting performance that he first applauded, and that he understood the full meaning only later on. This particular video is currently doing the rounds on social media.
What is Mohanlal’s Thudarum about?
Thudarum is Mohanlal’s second release of 2025, where he plays a stuntman-turned-cab-driver named Benz Shanmugham. Benz’s life is upended when his car is seized by the cops, which sparks off a series of untoward incidents. It is later revealed that the cop George sir had killed his stepson and pinned the blame on Benz, who now vows revenge. The particular dialogue is rendered by a wounded Benz, as he gives a dire warning to the culprits.
“Niniteyokke koottathodu paranjeku, Ottayaan veendum kaadu Kayari” literally translates to tell your people that the rogue tusker has once again entered the forests.
When will Parasakthi release
On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan's big-ticket film Parasakthi is scheduled to release on January 10, 2026. The other big Tamil release this week is actor-politician Vijay's Jana Nayagan, which is planned to release on January 9, but is yet to get the censor clearance. No major Malayalam films are scheduled for release this week.
