When is Parasakthi releasing?

Parasakthi is directed by Sudha Kongara, marking her next film after the critically acclaimed Soorarai Pottru and Irudhi Suttru. It is also her first collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan and the latter’s 25thfilm. The film is set to release in theatres on January 10, after advancing it from January 14. Touted as socially driven drama with strong emotional and political undertones, the project was initially launched with actor Suriya in the lead. However, due to scheduling reasons, the film later saw Sivakarthikeyan stepping into the role. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, with reports suggesting that ZEE5 has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights.
