Parth Samthaan receives heartwarming farewell from CID team including ACP Pradyuman: Fans say, 'He left a mark'

CID 2 is one of the most loved shows among fans, and it is widely known for the iconic trio, ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) and Inspectors Daya and Abhijeet (Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava. Fans have been experiencing a rollercoaster ride as ACP Pradyuman's sudden exit and Parth Samthaan joining the cast as ACP Ayusman created a storm on social media. However, Pradyuman is back, and Parth, who already confirmed his exit from CID 2, received a heartfelt farewell from the cast.

Parth Samthaan has reportedly finished shooting for his last episode for CID 2, and the team has organized a heartfelt farewell party for him. Shivaji Satam, Hrishikesh Pandey, Aditya Srivastava and others were present for his cake-cutting ceremony. 

In the videos that went viral on social media, a customised CID-themed cake for Parth on his last day on the sets can be seen. 

Showering love on the actor, one fan wrote on X, "Tonight marks the farewell of #ParthSamthaan as ACP Ayushmaan in #CID2..Even with limited episodes, he left a mark with his powerful screen presence and unmatched versatility..This role hit different intense, sharp, and unforgettable.. We’ll miss you,Parth"

Another commented, "ACP Ayushmaan you'll be missed not just by #CID2 but also by OG #CID viewers!! #ParthSamthaan !!"

Parth Samthaan joined the cast of CID 2 as ACP Ayushman after a sudden exit of Shivaji Satam's ACP Pradyuman. Fans showered love on Parth and his acting in CID 2.

Parth Samthaan confirms leaving CID 2

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Parth confirmed that he will quit CID 2 as ACP Ayushman. The actor said, "It’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of a cult show like CID, even if it’s just for a brief period. I was on board for a few episodes only, a guest appearance, but later got extended for a couple of months."

Parth also revealed that he has other work commitments lined up, hence he won’t be continuing for long. "But yes, I’m grateful for all the love and support the audience has shown during my brief stint," he said.

CID was renewed for a second season due to huge public demand on December 21. CID first aired in 1998 and received a lot of love from fans. Now that their favorite show has returned, fans' weekends are sorted!
