With big names from the industry such as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Paduoke and John Abraham all involved, Pathan is a movie fans are eagerly looking forward to. The latest news about the movie suggests that its release could be postponed.
According to a report by Bollywood Life, Pathan, which was touted to hit theaters across the country during Diwali, could postpone its release. A source close to the industry told the publication that the movie could be delayed due to the work pending on the movie.
The source stated that as Shah Rukh Khan is making his comeback to cinema after a self imposed break of four years and since the movie is a part of the spy universe of Yash Raj Films, every little detail of the movie is being scrutinised with a fine comb.
Pathan is the fourth project in the YRF Spy Universe, which includes Ek Tha Tiger and its sequel Tiger Zinda Hai starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
The report also suggests that producer Aditya Chopra and Director Siddharth Anand are doing everything to ensure the movie exceeds all expectations. The movie also involves high-octane action sequences in exotic locales and high-end VFX work, all of which is taking time. The duo had previously worked together in War.
Khan, who was last seen in the romantic comedy drama Zero directed by Aanand L. Rai in 2018, is also working on a project which is helmed by director Atlee. He will also be seen as himself in a cameo role in the biographical drama Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is directed by R Madhavan.
