The actor has been undergoing rigorous physical training in Thailand
We had reported recently that Silambarasan has returned to Chennai from Thailand ahead of the audio launch of Pathu Thala, which is slated to happen on March 18. The actor has been undergoing rigorous physical training in the Southeast Asian country for a while.
A picture of him sitting inside a swanky van has been doing the rounds the other day and movie buffs have been going gaga over his makeover. Many expressed eagerness on seeing him in the latest look at the audio event on Saturday.
Now, Silambarasan himself has taken to his Twitter page to post his picture, leaving his fans excited. The photo has him posing stylishly at a posh hotel in an all-black outfit, wielding a trolley bag in his right hand. His admirers are going bonkers in the comment section and are elated at the transformation of their matinee idol.
The new suave look he has sported is for STR 48 (tentative title) which will have Desingh Periyasamy at the helm. The untitled project is expected to go on floors soon. Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International will be bankrolling the movie.
Silambarasan surprised one and all a couple of years ago when he underwent a remarkable makeover for Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu (streaming on SonyLIV). He lost several kilos and his fitness story was quite an inspiration to many. Cinephiles opine that his latest makeover is even more inspiring and they are quite curious to know about the surprises he has in store for them.
The actor was said to be part of the sequel to Gautham Menon's gangster flick Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu (streaming on Amazon Prime Video). However, its makers are yet to come up with an announcement on the second part.
