Patna Shuklla trailer and plot

Patna Shuklla has a dual conflict. Both are severe at their respective degrees. Rinku Kumari is a Bachelor of Science student who has given a good exam but received an incorrectly marked result. Tanvi Shukla is a dutiful wife and lawyer who is constantly reminded that she is autonomous but inferior, independent but burdened by those around her, including her own husband.

The film explores what happens to these conflicts when females begin speaking the truth out loud. Introduced to others even by her husband as a lawyer who gets minor cases and is better at writing affidavits than fighting cases, Tanvi is a soft-spoken and polite lady who is fine with her lot, despite feeling uncomfortable in such instances.

But when Rinku, confident of her merit but desperate for justice, comes to her, a spark is lit. And it may just burn the wicker pile of corruption and misogyny in society and education, or burn out trying instead. As the two women unite in their protest and purpose in order to reveal the truth, danger begins stalking them closely.

From getting their house demolished to her husband losing his job, to Rinku being in the hospital, the women may battle with death itself, but will not bow out of the fight. A brave tale of resilience, womanhood, and honesty, Patna Shuklla promises to be a different kind of legal drama, less flashy and more connected to reality.
