Looks like R. Chandru is about to go places on the back of Kabzaa. His maiden pan-Indian project has evoked a lot of curiosity across the country with some of the biggest names in Telugu and Hindi industries discussing the film and lauding his efforts. In this vein, we now hear that a certain Mr. Pawan Kalyan is mighty impressed with what R. Chandru has put together, so much so that he is apparently keen on collaborating with the Kannada filmmaker!
Yes, you heard that right. As per the latest reports that have emerged on social media, Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan watched Kabzaa recently and is now looking to work with R. Chandru on a film. Neither the actor nor the filmmaker has publicly acknowledged these prospects so it is unclear whether the two are actually involved in these discussions or not. Netizens, too, seem a little unsure about the possibility and many of them have claimed that this could be conjecture or "rumours" at best.
What's not a rumour, though, is Pawan Kalyan actively offering encouragement to R. Chandru and his team Kabzaa. Reportedly, the Hari Hara Veera Mallu actor was meant to attend the grand audio event held in Sidlaghatta, Karnataka, recently but was unable to do so due to his commitments to his political party, Janasena. Nevertheless, Pawan Kalyan would send a special note to the team to wish actors Upendra, Kiccha Sudeep and the entire team the best and also wish success to the film, which is releasing in multiple Indian languages.
R. Chandru, too, has thanked Pawan Kalyan multiple times for the support that he has extended towards him and Kabzaa. It would be interesting to see whether their collaboration comes to life or not and for that, one awaits a formal announcement from either end.
As far as Kabzaa is concerned, the film opens in theatres worldwide on March 17th and is expected to yield great results at the box office. Modelled on the same scale and sensibility as the KGF franchise, Kabzaa boasts many big names as part of its cast and crew and in all likeliness, should things go their way, the makers will extend the film into a franchise of its own. Shiva Rajkumar makes a special cameo appearance in the film.
