Pawan Kalyan said you can’t run away from shoot: Supriya Yarlagadda recollects Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi memories

Nijam with Smita, the talk show on Sony LIV, hosted by entrepreneur, musician Smita Valluripalli, is nearing its completion. The tenth episode of the show will bring together three power women from the entertainment industry - producers Supriya Yarlagadda of Annapurna Productions, Swapna Dutt (of Swapna Cinema, Vyjayanthi Movies) and actress Radhika Sarathkumar.

The episode will be out on SonyLIV this Friday. Ahead of its premiere, the streamer unveiled a promo recently. Smita, while welcoming them to the show, addresses them as ‘three angels’ corrects herself and labels the trio as ‘three energies’. Radhika, in this interaction, shares she’s a firm believer in destiny. “There are many prettier, more talented than me, but I was blessed,” she said.

Supriya Yarlagadda went back in time to discuss her acting debut with Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi alongside Pawan Kalyan. “When I ran away from the set nearly 4-5 times in the second schedule, Kalyan insisted I finish this film. You can’t keep running away,” the producer shared. Swapna told she’d gone through huge lows in television and had to look past that to taste success.

While Supriya took charge of her grandfather ANR’s legacy and played an instrumental role in the growth of the Annapurna Studios in the last two decades, Swapna Dutt is the daughter of an illustrious producer Ashwini Dutt. Radhika Sarathkumar, daughter of actor MR Radha, besides making her mark in cinema, has carved her niche on television as an actress and producer.

Chiranjeevi, Chandrababu Naidu, Nani, Rana Daggubati, Sai Pallavi, Pullela Gopichand, Sudheer Babu, Allari Naresh, Anil Ravipudi, Adivi Sesh, Major Bharath Reddy, Dev Katta, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Jaya Prakash Narayan and Ram Madhav were the other guests on Nijam with Smita across the nine episodes released across as many weeks.
