Pawan Kalyan's OG locks new release date: Here's when the Sujeeth film will hit the screens

Pawan Kalyan is now the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and has stopped signing new films. He is yet to complete his pending projects, and the producers of these films are facing massive losses due to Pawan delaying the shoots multiple times.

Of the four films he is yet to complete, OG is the most anticipated. Directed by Sujeeth of Run Raja Run and Saaho fame, OG was originally supposed to hit screens on September 27, 2024. However, as the shoot is still incomplete, the film was postponed, and to date, the shoot has not yet resumed.

Only the makers know when the shoot will restart, as they recently met the Bheemla Nayak and Suswagatham star to enquire about his availability. Now, as per the latest update, the makers have locked September 5, 2025, as the new release date. Incidentally, this is also the date when Sivakarthikeyan's Madarasi is set for a big release.

Sujeeth, who has been stuck with OG for the longest time, is eagerly waiting for Pawan Kalyan to wrap up his portions, but there is no sign of it happening soon, as Pawan remains busy with his political commitments. Emraan Hashmi of Why Cheat India and Good Boy Bad Boy fame is playing the main villain.

Apart from OG, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Ustad Bhagat Singh are the other films still pending completion. Among them, Ustad Bhagat Singh has been making news, with rumors suggesting that the makers might stall the film altogether due to Pawan Kalyan’s unavailability. So far, only a small portion of the shoot has been completed.

These repeated delays have upset fans, and the producers are requesting Pawan Kalyan to allot just one month to wrap up all the pending films. Let's see what happens.
