Peacemaker Season 2 is finally out on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium). Peacemaker is an American television series based on the iconic character from DC Comics. Created by James Gunn, the first season is a spin-off from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film The Suicide Squad (2021). The second season will have 8 episodes in total.

Peacemaker Season 2 plot

Peacemaker Season 2 picks up after the events of Season 1's Project Butterfly. Chris Smith, also known as the Peacemaker (John Cena), is now struggling with the consequences of his actions in the first season and the meaning of heroism as an anti-hero.

The season takes place about a month after the events of the Superman movie, and the Justice Gang (from the new DCU) appear in the season opener, replacing the Justice League cameo from season 1 in a clever retcon.

Meanwhile, the first episode, The Ties That Grind, ends with a major twist: The Peacemaker accidentally kills his alternate-universe counterpart, creating a difficult path ahead of him.
