Pelli SandaD teaser release: What to expect from this Roshann and Sreeleela’s rom-com

The teaser of Roshann, Sreeleela starring Pelli SandaD was released yesterday and was welcomed warmly by fans. It started trending on social media in no time. A single was released prior to the teaser and was appreciated by eager fans waiting for the release, which is getting delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The teaser opens with a basketball game in which Roshann’s character wins. This is followed by a shot of him riding a horse with scenic mountains in the background. Sreeleela is seen in a conventional outfit, looking ever-charming but the penultimate shot is of Roshann beating goons black and blue. The teaser ends with a melodious song composed by veteran M.M.Keervani. Overall, we could predict that the movie would be a commercial entertainer aimed at the youth.

Pelli SandaD marks the debut of Gowri Janaki as director. He has earlier worked as assistant director in Ram Charan’s Govindudu Andari Vaadele. Pelli SandaD is said to be the sequel of the 1996 superhit Telugu movie of the same name, starring Srikanth in the lead role. M.M.Keervani also composed music for the prequel. The movie was later remade in Tamil and Hindi as Ninithen Vandhai and Mere Sapno Ki Rani, respectively. Now, we need to wait and see if the sequel will be as big a success as its prequel. The movie is bankrolled by Madhavi Kovelamudi, Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner of RK Film Associates in collaboration with Arka Media Works.
