The comedy drama's plot revolves around a young woman who, with no remorse, tricks several guys into getting married. A police officer who is perplexed by numerous individuals making similar allegations at his station, is in an attempt to settle the dispute and understand the issue as well as the woman's motive behind these acts.

The comedy film's initial January 16 release date was postponed, most likely as a result of Vijay's highly anticipated film Jananayagan being delayed. Ramesh Pisharody, Aju Varghese, Hakkim Shahjahan and Irshad Ali also play important parts in the Pennu Case.
