Pharma director PR Arun, best known for the sports drama film Finals, had earlier told OTTplay that the series is inspired by real-life incidents from the pharmaceutical industry. Rajit Kapur’s return to Malayalam

The Malayalam series also marks Bollywood actor Rajit Kapur’s return to the Kerala industry after more than two decades. For the unversed, the Hindi actor featured opposite actress Shobana in the National Award-winning film Agnisakshi in 1999. During the JioHotstar South Unbound event, Rajit Kapur had said that he did not have to think twice before saying yes to the series.

Notable cast

Not just Nivin and Rajit, the Malayalam series has several notable names from the film industry, including actors Binu Pappu and Narain who were recently seen in the thriller film Eko. Actresses Shruti Ramachandran, Veena Nandakumar and Muthumani are also on board the series in key roles. Director PR Arun has also penned the series, which has music by Jakes Bejoy, who won praise for his composition in the blockbuster film Lokah Chapter 1 Chandra.
