Vijay Antony's much-awaited sequel Pichaikkaran 2 is gearing up for a release in Tamil and Telugu on April 14. The film marks the musician-turned-actor's directorial debut; the project hit the headlines a few months ago when he met with a severe accident while filming a crucial sequence in Malaysia.

The project's release date announcement was made later after he informed everyone that he has undergone a major surgery successfully. A few days ago, a social media post of his evoked curiousity when he said that he will reveal the identity of Bikili, a character in the movie, today.

As promised, Vijay has come up with a video song which begins with him saying that he has invented a new cuss word in Tamil. According to him, the word has been coined to describe those who suppress others in the society and those who make the lives of the underprivileged miserable with their selfish acts.

He introduces the term "Bikili" and adds that the word shall henceforth be used for referring to such insensitive people. The song has him singing and performing along with the public. The lyrics take a dig at the behaviour of "bikilis" around us. The peppy track reminds us of some of his old chartbuster songs in terms of the energy it oozes.

The video also features a few shots of Vijay and Kavya Thapar romancing with each other. The song has been composed, written and sung by himself. Movie buffs in Tamil and Telugu are curious to know what Vijay has in store for them this time. Pichaikkaran was a runaway hit in both the industries.

Radha Ravi, YG Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan and Hareesh Peradi play key roles in Pichaikkaran 2 which has cinematography by Om Narayanan and editing handled by Vijay himself.
