Actress Mrunal Thakur - who garnered a lot of appreciation for her characters in recent releases like Jersey and Sita Ramam - created quite a stir on the internet on Tuesday, after she posted a picture of herself crying on social media, leaving fans deeply worried.
“Yesterday was tough, But today I’m stronger, wiser and happy! Everybody has pages in their stories they don’t read out loud, but I’m choosing to read mine out loud, because someone out needs to learn the lesson I learnt. Taking one day at a time. It’s okay to be naive and vulnerable,” Mrunal wrote on the photo that she shared on Instagram stories.
Naturally, within moments of the actress posting the picture on social media, it started making the rounds online and messages started pouring in, with fans and followers wishing the actress well and telling her to stay strong in every difficult situation.
Soon after receiving the responses, Mrunal shared a video on her stories, in which she said, “And that picture was taken at the time, when I felt extremely low and couldn’t make it, but today I’m happy. And, I made it, woohoo!”
On the work front, Mrunal - who has worked in Hindi, Telugu and Marathi films - was last seen in director Hanu Raghavapudi’s Telugu period romantic drama, alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandana. Next, she will be seen in an upcoming action thriller film Gumraah, opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead role. Directed by debutant filmmaker, Vardhan Ketkar, this movie is the official Hindi remake of a Tamil action thriller Thadam, which was released in 2019. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, the Tamil film starred Arun Vijay and Tanya Hope. Apart from that, she will also be seen in the upcoming period action drama film Pippa, alongside Ishaan Khatter, and in Pooja Meri Jaan, along with actor Huma Qureshi.
