Pippa’s new track ‘Main Parwana’ has Ishaan Khatter grooving to Arijit Singh’s magical vocals and A R Rahman’s melody
Amongst the latest releases on OTT space, one of the most eagerly awaited films is definitely ‘Pippa’. Starring the young and brooding actor Ishaan Khatter. Ever since the time he had made his debut in showbiz, his role in ‘Pippa’ can be undoubtedly termed as one of his career’s best performances and also his career defining performances. Besides Ishaan Khatter’s stellar performances in the film, another major highlight of the film happens to be the magical music composed by the Music Maestro A R Rahman! Speaking of the film’s music, the makers have now released one of the film’s most melodious tracks, which has been titled ‘Main Parwaana’.
The track ‘Main Parwaana’, has been sung mellifluously by the vocal magician Arijit Singh. The magical music of the said track is by none other than A R Rahman. The song has been picturised on Ishaan Khatter, who dances away to glory in this track! A sample few words from the track reads as, “Yun nazarein uthaanaa, Yun nazarein giraana, Tu hai shammma, Main hoon mastaanaa..”
Ishaan Khatter took to social media today and posted the video of the said track and captioned the same as, “Main Parvana!!! This has been by far the MOST FUN experience shooting a song. Hope you guys enjoy it even more than us”. As for the film, ‘Pippa’, for all those who had been wondering the mystery / reason behind the title, let us tell you that, it’s a direct reference to PT-76, an amphibious tank which is popularly called as ‘Pippa’. This amphibious tank forms an extremely link in the film.
As for Ishaan Khatter, he will be seen playing the role of Captain Mehta of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron in the film. For the unversed, Captain Mehta of the 45th Cavalry Tank Squadron played an important role in the 1971 India and Pakistan war, which resulted in the formation of Bangladesh.
‘Pippa’ is now being readied for a OTT streaming on Prime Video from November 10 onwards. The film has been directed by Raja Menon.
