Yogesh, aka Loose Maada Yogi, is gearing up for his landmark 50th film Rosy. The film, which is billed as a hardcore gangster drama, will be helmed by Shoonya of Head Bush fame and the team is currently engrossed in the pre-production duties. Yogi plays the titular role in the film whose first-look poster was released only a few days ago.

And it would seem that the team is leaving no stone unturned to make things special for the actor. According to the latest reports, Shoonya and Co. have approached noted Tamil actor and filmmaker R. Parthiban for a key role in the film and should things materialize, he will join the shooting sets at the earliest. The same reports inform us that the two parties are currently discussing the prospects and an official confirmation on the same is still awaited.

Should Parthiban be part of Rosy, it would be only his second Kannada outing in a career that's spanned over four decades. He made his Sandalwood debut back in 2017 when he played the leading man in Santhosh's underworld film Dada is Back.

Radhakrishnan Parthiban is regarded highly both as an actor and director and has acted in over 70 films to date, directing as many as 15 films. His directorial debut came about in the year 1989 with the film Pudhea Paadhai which was later remade in Kannada as Hosa Jeevana, starring the late Shankar Nag. Parthiban was last seen in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2 in the role of Chinna Pazhuvettayar.

As far as Rosy is concerned, the team recently found itself entangled in a title clash issue with Arjun Janya's 45. The latter film, which stars Shiva Rajkumar, Raj B. Shetty and Upendra, was first registered as 'Rosy 45' but the 'Rosy' has now been jettisoned from the title.
