The actor, today, dropped a short video, which gives a sneak peek into the ideation and conception of Aditha Karikalan's look and how the trials were conducted. The video shared the outline and the sketches of the look and how designers and artisans got into work for the same.
The video also showed how the Chola emblem, the pouncing tiger, was also designed to be used on Aditha Karikalan's clothes. Eka Lakhani has handled the costumes for the team, while the hair and make-up is by Vikram Gaekwad. Thanking the team, Vikram wrote along with the video, "Work in progress. Thank you @ekalakhani & #Ozzy for helping me look like the Aditha Karikalan #ManiRatnam sir had in mind. What a warrior!! (sic)."
The makers Madras Talkies, too, shared, "From courage to charm! The transformation of @chiyaan into the legendary warrior prince, #AdithaKarikalan- A treat for the fans! Stay tuned for the trailer (sic)."

The 45-second video gave a glimpse of how Trisha's look was conceptualised and designed, right from her hairdo to the fabric of her clothes. Her looks had gone on to become massive hits on social media with netizens going gaga over them.
The second instalment of Ponniyin Selvan is all set to hit screens on April 28. The film stars Vikram and Aditha Karikalan, Jayam Ravi as Ponniyin Selvan, Trisha as Kundavai, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini Devi and Jayam Ravi as Arunmozhi Varman. The film, directed by Mani Ratnam, has music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Ravi Varman, editing by Sreekar Prasad and art direction by Thota Tharani. The film is jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
