Pooja Hegde reveals about two of her upcoming projects with Prabhas and Ranveer Singh.
Telugu actress Pooja Hegde has a lot on her plate right now. The actor who was last seen in the 2020 Telugu action drama Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring alongside Allu Arjun, opens up about two of her seven upcoming projects.
The two films include the Hindi film Cirkus alongside Ranveer Singh and the pan-India Telugu film Radhe Shyam, co-starring with Prabhas. Apart from these two biggies, she is truly making it count with an impressive pan-Indian project line-up that boasts of big names from the Indian film industry. With the Salman Khan-starrer Bhaijaan, Beast with Thelapathy Vijay, Acharya with Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan, Most Eligible Bachelor with Akhil Akkineni and SSMB28 opposite Mahesh Babu, the 30-year-old actor is raring to go.
Pooja told Filmibeat that when Rohit Shetty approached her for Cirkus, she got so excited that she forgot to ask about the male lead opposite her. And when she came to know that her co-star in the film is Ranveer Singh, her joy knew no bounds. Speaking on her criteria for choosing films, the Mohenjo Daro actor said if top-notch directors like Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali or SS Rajamouli call her for a film, she would instantly say yes without even asking for a narration.
Talking about Radhe Shyam, she described it as a period film combining fashion with romance, where the ‘female lead’s role is phenomenal.’ Pooja’s fans will be overjoyed to see her sharing considerable screen time alongside the Baahubali actor Prabhas, as the plot traces their journey together. The Housefull 4 actor has recently completed the shooting for the film in Hyderabad. She is now on her way to Chennai to shoot for Beast. The actor had taken everyone by surprise with the announcement of her film, SSMB28 with Mahesh Babu. The upcoming film marks her second outing with the Telugu superstar after Maharshi. The gorgeous actor who stepped into films and acting in 2012 with Mysskin’s Tamil superhero film Mugamoodi has now gained a significant foothold across film industries with the seven upcoming movies.
