The first look of Prabhu Deva's My Dear Bootham, being directed by N Ragavan, was unveiled recently. The film has Ramya Nambeesan playing the female lead. The two actors were earlier seen in Karthik Subbaraj's Mercury (streaming on Zee5). It was Vijay Sethupathi who unveiled the project's motion poster.
Produced by Ramesh Pillai of Abhishek Films, the movie has music composed by D Imman. The latter was the musician for Prabhu Deva's last outing, Pon Manickavel (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar), too. UK Senthil Kumar has handled cinematography for the project which has editing by San Lokesh.
The team has now announced that a song from the film, Master Oh My Master, will be released on December 16. They also posted a glimpse of the song in a 25-second video from the social media handle of the production house. The peppy song has Prabhu Deva, who is attired in a vibrant outfit, shaking a leg with other dancers.
He looks quite enthusiastic while performing complex moves in the video. Fans of the actor-filmmaker will be in for a treat when the makers reveal the complete song on Thursday.
Sridhar has choreographed dance movements for the film which has action scenes helmed by GN Murugan. Ashwanth, Alia, Param Guganesh, Imman Annachi, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan and Samyuktha will be seen essaying important characters in the fantasy movie.
According to the makers, Prabhu Deva's character of a genie is going to be the highlight of My Dear Bootham. The team has kept the story of the film under wraps, and said that the movie will have many surprises for the audience.
