Director and actor Pradeep Ranganathan's Love Insurance Kompany, which was initially scheduled to release in September, has been pushed by a month and will now make a festive entry. The film will release for Diwali and the makers have fixed the date as October 17. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film also features Krithi Shetty and SJ Suryah.

Director and actor Pradeep Ranganathan who gave this year's blockbuster film Dragon, has several projects in his pipeline, one of them being Love Insurance Kompany. The film has been in the making for a while. After getting postponed from its September release, a new date has been announced. Love Insurance Kompany will now hit theatres on October 17 for the occasion of Diwali. The film is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan whose last release was the 2022 romantic comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
With the makers of Love Insurance Kompany announcing a Diwali release, it is still not clear if the film will compete with Pradeep Ranganathan's yet another film Dude, which has also been announced for Diwali. Love Insurance Kompany is touted to be a romantic comedy subject with futuristic approach. As per reports, the story was initially pitched to Sivakarthikeyan and was announced, however, it was subsequently dropped.

Love Insurance Kompany will mark the first time Pradeep is working with Vignesh Shivan. With Krithi Shetty playing the female lead, the cast also includes SJ Suryah, Gouri Kishan and others.
