Pradhan: Dev is fine and the shoot is on, says the team from North Bengal

Team Pradhan, which includes actor Dev, director Avijit Sen, Paran Bandyopadhyay, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Soumitrisha, Koneenica Banerjee, Soham Chakraborty and others, has no time to rest. They are busy shooting in North Bengal for their upcoming film which is scheduled to release this winter. Dev started the shooting with a bit of bad news – his fever – but got back to his feet.

At the beginning of his schedule, Dev took to his social media and announced that he was down with a fever. “It is the first day of shooting and I am having a fever,” he said. It caused social media turbulence and his fans started worrying. Many discussions and speculations then came up. Many people wondered whether Dev had dengue. His fans were simply restless hearing the news. 

These are all just rumours, as claimed by Dev’s co-actor Ambarish Bhattacharya. In an interview with Anandabazar, he said, “Dev had a fever on the first day. But he turned completely fit on the second day. He took medicines and blood tests were done. Everything is normal. We are hearing many types of news like Dev is very sick. This is fake news. Dev is fine and we are shooting well.” He further asked people to stop ‘spreading lies’.

Soumitrisha Kundu, who became famous for her role in the serial Mithai, has paired up with Dev in this films. This is her debut on the big screen and hence she is excited. She posted the look of her new avatar on Instagram a few days back. Dev also revealed that he would be playing a cop in the film. The audience is eagerly waiting to see Dev and Soumitrisha on the screen. 

Meanwhile, Devb and Ambarish-starrer Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo is running in theatres.
