Pradhan: Dev opens up about co-actors Paran Bandyopadhyay and Mamata Shankar

Dev doesn’t have time to rejoice over Bagha Jatin's success. His next film Pradhan will be released in winter vacation. It has already been reported that Dev plays a cop. Television fame Soumitrisha Kundu will make her debut opposite Dev in the film. Paran Bandyopadhyay and Mamata Shankar will play important roles in the film. A part of the shooting has already been done in North Bengal and another part’s shooting is ongoing in Kolkata. How is Dev's off-screen chemistry with Paran Bandyopadhyay and Mamata Shankar?

Both Paran Bandyopadhyay and Mamata Shankar are veteran actors in Tollywood. Dev worked with Paran in the film Tonic and with Mamata Shankar in the film Projapati. In an interview with ABP Ananda, Dev said, “I have worked with both of them previously. Hence the on-screen chemistry is fabulous. But in this film, I am the senior citizen and they are the young generation. I love both of them. The film would not be possible without them.”

Mamata Shankar also echoed Dev’s opinion. She said, “Every time I bless him, that comes from my heart. He has been like my son since Projapati.” 

Dev's character's name is Dipak Pradhan in the film. Dev did a lot of preparations for the film. He went to the gym regularly to be in shape. He also did cupping therapy. He posted several photos of his preparation on social media. 

After their success in Tonic and Projapoti, Pradhan is the third film that is made by producer Atanu Raychaudhuri, director Avijit Sen and actor Dev.
