Pradhan: Dev, Soumitrisha Kundu, Anirban Chakrabarti, Paran Bandyopadhyay, and others gather at the poster launch

Dev took to his social media and announced the wrap of his film Pradhan. Now the poster of this ambitious project of director Avijit Sen, producer Atanu Roychoudhuri, and the actor was released on Friday at Nandan. The cast and crew members, including, Paran Bandopadhyay, Soumitrisha Kundu, Soham, Anirban Chakraborty Mamata Shankar, Sujan Mukhopadhyay, Biswanath Basu, Ambarish Bhattacharya and Konineeca Banerjee, were present at the do.

After the huge success of Tonic, which was selected in the Indian Panorama at the 53rd IFFI 2022 in the Mainstream Cinema category, Avijit, Atanu, and Dev collaborated for Projapati. The film which also features Mithun Chakraborty broke many box office records in the Bengali film industry. Now these three are back together with Pradhan. 

“Pradhan is a story of human values and relationships that hold a mirror to the face of society. We have shot the film extensively in the picturesque locales of North Bengal. We are hopeful that the audience will love the movie”, said Atanu of Bengal Talkies.

Director Avijit Sen said, "Pradhan allowed me to work with two of my favorite actors, Paranda and Dev, again after Tonic. The chemistry between them is unparalleled and it has been such an amazing experience working with this humongous cast of extremely talented actors. I am sure that the audience will rediscover Anirban Chakraborty in Pradhan and there are many other surprises. We are doing our best to create a memorable film for the audience which they will enjoy thoroughly.”

Shantanu Moitra and Rathijit Bhattacharya have composed the songs for the movie. The lyrics are penned by Prosen. Script and dialogues are by Subhadip Das.

Pradhan, Presented by Atanu Raychaudhuri will release across leading multiplexes and single screens around Christmas.
