The 2026 Malayalam film Prakambanam recently made its OTT debut on Zee5. Starring young actors Ganapathi and Sagar Surya, Prakambanam narrates a horror comedy, mostly set in a college hostel. Not just in Malayalam, Prakambanam is also now available to stream in Tamil and Kannada on the platform.
The latest horror comedy Prakambanam, which released in theatres on January 30, made its digital debut on March 13, but was only available to stream in the original language Malayalam. But now the Ganapathi and Sagar Surya-led movie is available to stream in Tamil and Kannada on Zee5, the platform has said. The dubbed versions were made available from March 20.

Though Prakambanam released in theatres without much hype, the movie had a decent run at the box office.
Directed by Vijesh Panathur, Prakambanam follows three college youths - Sidhu, Punyalan, and Shankaran - who lead a typical campus life with good amount of student politics. But all that gets upended when Punayalan gets possessed by the spirit of Sidhu’s grandmother, leading to a series of hilarious events. How and whether they exorcise the spirit is the depicted in the movie, which mostly stays fun though it does stretch its last portions.
Young actors Ganapathi S. Poduval, Sagar Surya, and Al Ameen lead the film as the three laid-back youths, while senior actress Mallika Sukumaran appears as the grandmother in an interesting casting choice. Azees Nedumangad, late actor Kalabhavan Navas and P. P. Kunhikrishnan form Sidhu’s family. Actor-director Rajesh Madhavan too makes a fun appearance as exorcist Stanislavski with a Russian influence towards the end. Sheethal Joseph plays Punyalan’s girlfriend Vedika.
