Prithviraj Sukumaran had sparked online buzz about his next film as an actor after he put up an Instagram post that he was ‘nervous’ about long monologues in a language that is not native to him. Fans were quick to jump to the conclusion that he meant SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu. But some also pointed out that it could be his Meghna Gulzar film with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Now, putting an end to the speculations, Prithviraj’s mother and actress Mallika Sukumaran has confirmed that it is the Rajamouli film with a comment and here’s all you need to know about it!

After Prithviraj Sukumaran’s cryptic post about his new film, netizens flooded the comment section with questions about whether it is Rajamouli’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SSMB29. But one comment in Malayalam read, “This is all AI. Don’t believe it.” 

But Mallika Sukumaran took objection to this comment, and wrote, “Next is Rajamouli film. He is leaving tonight.” She even chided the person that she could have asked her instead of posting speculations. 

Mallika’s comment has sent the internet into a frenzy and fans of the Malayalam star are celebrating the confirmation. 

SS Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu film SSMB29

SS Rajamouli has joined forces with Mahesh Babu for the upcoming Telugu film, SSMB29. Though the RRR director has been tight-lipped about any information about the cast and crew, speculations are rife that Prithviraj and John Abraham are part of the project.

The first schedule has been completed, and the second schedule is in Odisha, as per reports. Prithviraj is currently gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated directorial L2 Empuraan. The ace Malayalam actor-filmmaker is expected to wrap up his portions and return to Kerala in time for Mohanlal-starrer's big release on March 27, 2025.
