Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadha is the second instalment of Putham Pudhu Kaalai which was released on Prime Video. The Tamil anthology series consists of five movies of hope and human resilience, and here are some things it teaches its viewers.
It’s okay to lose control:
Nizhal Tharum Idham starring Aishwarya Lekshmi teaches us this life lesson beautifully, that whatever we plan in life may not be how it turns out. There is no real way of knowing how things will turn out and that it is important that you do not hold yourself accountable and have to accept that our control over life is limited. So however life turns out, never let it get the best of us.
Smile at the face of adversity:
Life has a habit of throwing hurdles at your face, making it difficult to lead the most satisfied and happy life. Some situations can have the best of you, leaving you hurt inside. Loners starring Lijimol and Arjun Das teaches us that we need to find ways to empty our hearts, leave the reason of your hurt behind.
Life is too small for grudges:
Life is a fleeting illusion and no one can really say how long it will last. So the last thing we need to do is carry grudges and have sad memories in life. Everyone is capable of making mistakes including ourselves and it might hurt the people closest to us. Mouname Paarvayaai with Joju George and Nadia Moidu teaches an important lesson of letting grudges go and living life without hate.
There’s always a way out:
Mugakavasa Mutham teaches that whenever life closes a door, it opens a window. Life gives you enough troubles, but it is important that you don't give in or give up. Even in the most constricting of troubles, there is a way out. You just have to look for it or wait till you find it.
All one needs is a little courage:
Life doesn't often give you a long list of chances and so, it is important that you grab it when it presents itself. We sometimes end up regretting a chance we let go because we did not show the courage to speak for ourselves and take it. The Mask starring Sananth and Dhilip Subbarayan teaches just this, that no one else will live your life for you and you need to find the courage to make your own decisions.
With Halitha Shameem, Balaji Mohan, Richard Anthony, Surya Krishna and Madhumita all directing a story, Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadha brings together five stories of human resilience during tough times. The anthology series is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
