R Balki has wrapped the production of Chup - Revenge of the Artist, the psychological thriller. The movie has a star studded cast including Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary.
The news was shared on social media by Dhanwanthary. The actor shared a series of photos and videos from the sets of the movie using the Instagram stories feature. "It's a wrap on 'Chup- Revenge of the Artist," she wrote.
One of the videos shared by the star showed Salmaan cutting a celebratory cake along with other cast and crew members as the group celebrated the wrap.
Backed by Hope Productions and Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, the movie is helmed by R Balki. The movie is co-written by critic-turned-writer Raja Sen, Rishi Virmani and Balki. Amit Trivedi has composed the music for the movie.
When the title was announced, the filmmaker said that the movie is an ode to legendary filmmaker Guru Dutt.
Balki, who made his debut in 200 with Cheeni Kum, has also previously helmed movies such as Paa, Ki & Ka and Pad Man.
Salmaan was last seen in the Tamil heist comedy thriller Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal and has a number of movies on the way including Kurup and Salute.
Dhanwanthary was last seen in Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story and Mumbai Diaries 26/11.
Pooja Bhatt was last seen in the Netflix web series Bombay Begums created by Alankrita Shrivastava. Bhatt's last movie was Sadak 2, which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
