Post Ponmagal Vandhal and Soorarai Pottru, Suriya's production house 2D Entertainment announced the release of four more films on Amazon Prime Video a while ago. The first among them to have a premiere is debutant Arisil Moorthy's Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum, starring Mithun Manickam and Ramya Pandian in lead roles.
Tipped as a rural flick which narrates the story of a young couple, the film had its trailer and two singles unveiled recently by Suriya himself. M Sukumar has handled cinematography for the film which has music by actor Krishh; the film marks his debut as a composer. The makers have roped in Shiva Saravanan and Rock Prabhu for editing and action choreography respectively.
What's Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum all about?
Going by the movie's trailer, which has a duration of a minute and a half, its story revolves around a young farmer and his wife who become helpless after Vellaiyan and Karuppan, who are dear to them, go missing. They go to a police station and seek help from them. However, the cops are surprised after realizing that Vellaiyan and Karuppan are bulls which the farmer and wife consider as their pets. After their requests get rejected repeatedly, they come up with a plan and ensure that their issue is highlighted in national media.
When will the film release on Amazon Prime Video?
The movie will have a premiere on Amazon Prime on September 24. With Suriya's Soorarai Pottru, which is also produced by him, winning several laurels, all eyes are on Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum, the next project from the production house. Udanpirappe (Jyotika and Sasikumar), Jai Bhim (Suriya) and Oh My Dog (Arun Vijay) are the other movies from the banner which will have a premiere on the streaming platform later this year.
